When used correctly it doesn't weigh the hair down and it definitely keeps hair moisturized and looking healthy.. I tried the cream version of this product also and found it to be much more heavier than this hair lotion... the hair lotion is more light and the smell is great. i use it at night before wrapping my hair and also once in the morning... Great product... I am a fan for life ! I also use the regular no lye perm Olive Oil Built-In Protection No Lye Relaxer Normallike every 3 mos or soon my roots and use theOrganic Root Stimulator Shamp Creamy Aloe 12.5 oz. and Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Replenishing Pack 1.75 oz. (Pack of 12) once a week which are a GREATshampoo and conditioner. they smell great ... don't weigh the hair down and really does what they advertise....
